Our Story

Started with one bad bag of cashews.

Pure Sri Lankan cashews, grown in Puttalam

We opened a stale grocery-store bag one afternoon, and that was the last straw. Kajuwa started as a search for the cashews we remembered from childhood — the ones that actually snapped when you bit into them.

Today we work directly with a handful of farms whose growers we can name, roast in batches small enough to taste-test, and ship orders the same week they're roasted. No warehouses, no year-old stock.

And they are pure Sri Lankan cashews. Every nut we sell is grown on farms in Puttalam, in the island's dry zone, where the cashew has a long history. From the farm they come to us in Kalutara, and we roast and pack every order ourselves.
