Festive Cashew Gifts for Deepavali and Christmas: Ideas, Budgets and When to Order

Deepavali falls in early November this year, and Christmas and the year-end follow in December. Between them, there is a long stretch of gift-giving: neighbours, relatives, hosts, colleagues and clients. Sharing food is a big part of how these festivals are marked in Sri Lanka, and cashews are an easy fit, because people actually eat them, they keep well, and they are easy to share. Our delivery takes five to seven business days anywhere in Sri Lanka, and these are estimates. Festive weeks are busy for couriers, so delivery can take longer. As a rule, order at least two weeks before the day you need your gift, and earlier if it is going to a far-away town or if you are sending it as a surprise. If you are close to a deadline, consider collecting from our Kalutara pickup point, which is free and ready after two business days.

For neighbours and friends, a small pack or two is friendly without being over the top. For family hosting a gathering, a larger pack to put out for guests, such as Garlic or Salt & Pepper, is useful. For colleagues, a small box for each person is a thoughtful way to say thank you at the end of the year. At checkout you can add a gift note to any gift box or hamper, and we write it on a note card and pack it inside. Keep it short and warm: a festival greeting and a name. If you are sending to several households, place a separate order for each address, because each order goes to one delivery address.

If you are buying for many people, there is no minimum quantity on our bulk orders. Tell us the quantity and the occasion, and we quote you individually, usually within one to two business days. Companies often order for year-end well before December, so contact us early to leave room to get it right.

Can I choose the delivery date? Delivery takes five to seven business days, and these are estimates. We cannot promise a particular day, so order early for anything that is tied to a date.

Can I send a gift to someone else's address? Yes. Enter their name, address and phone number as the delivery details, and add a gift note if you like. Use your own email so that the confirmation comes to you.

What if I need the gift very soon? Pickup from our Kalutara pickup point is free and ready after two business days, so if you live near Kalutara, it can be the fastest option. Message us on WhatsApp if you have a question about timing.

Are the gift boxes the same all year? The boxes are always packed to order. Our festive offer lowers their price until 31 December, so check the gifting page for current prices.
