How to Surprise Family and Friends in Sri Lanka from Abroad with a Cashew Gift
When you can't be there
If you've moved abroad, you know the feeling: a birthday you can't attend, a festival at home you're watching on a phone screen, a parent's anniversary you'd give anything to be at. A video call helps, but it isn't the same as having something arrive at the door.
A gift of food is one of the warmest ways to close that distance. What to send, and to whom

Add your own message
What turns a parcel into a surprise is your message. With any gift box or hamper you can add a gift note at checkout, and we'll write it on a note card and pack it inside. Keep it short and real: "Thinking of you, wish I was there. Love, Nimal." That one line is what people keep.
How to order from abroad, step by step
1. Choose a gift box from the gifting page, or build your own on the hamper page.
2. At checkout, enter the recipient's name, address and phone number in Sri Lanka, so the courier can reach them. Use your own email so the confirmation comes to you.
3. Pay by bank transfer and upload your receipt at checkout. If paying from abroad is a problem, message us on WhatsApp and we'll help you sort it out.
4. We roast and pack your order, and you'll get an email when it ships. Delivery takes 5 to 7 business days anywhere in Sri Lanka. You can read the details in our shipping policy and on our delivery areas page.
Order early for special days
Because delivery takes 5 to 7 business days, order at least two weeks before the day you want it to arrive. That leaves room for roasting, packing and any courier delays around busy times such as the Sinhala and Tamil New Year, Vesak, Deepavali and Christmas. If you're sending to more than one household, place a separate order for each address, since each order goes to one delivery address.
